(Custom Arrows)

Your Arrow length is measured from a assembled arrow at the cut end of the shaft to the bottom of the nock grove where the string sits. Do not measure it any other way, as it will be wrong when you get it. Make sure your E-Mail is with your order.

Other uni nock systems are sold with the nock already installed on the shaft from the factory. The color of the nock is set by the factory.  you can make special arrangements for custom arrows

Carbon Impact arrows come from the factory with the nocks already on or in the arrow. They can be ordered with a Push on pin type nock, Or an internal type like the bohning uni nock.

We build all sorts of custom arrows to order, wraps or fletching to your order.

I  Personally have shot huge Broadheads with these vanes and was either on the money or within 1 inch of dead center. Mechanical heads dead on bullseyes every time. They are made of a very pliable strong material that is great in whisker biscuits and does not wrinkle from shooting.

Like the XT, the Gold Tip Hunter shaft is also crafted with 5 precision layers of graphite fiber. The Hunter is considered to be a very consistent, highly durable hunting shaft. It is available in three sizes.
  • Straightness +/-0.006 inches
  • Weight Tolerance +/-5 grains
  • Inside Diameter  .246 inches

Flex It First

Always inspect each arrow for damage before each shot. Proper care of graphite arrows can ensure years of quality performance. However, shafts can be damaged. To inspect the arrow, hold it on both ends and flex it away from yourself and others while visibly and audibly checking for splinters, cracks or nicks. Rotate and repeat this inspection four to five times. If you find the arrow to be damaged in any way, destroy it immediately. Shooting damaged graphite arrows can result in arrow failure and possible bodily injury.

Always cut arrows to the correct length

It is very important to cut the graphite arrows to the correct length. Arrows that are cut too short can become lodged in the arrow rest or behind the riser of the bow. Shooting an arrow that is lodged in a bow in this manner will almost certainly result in arrow failure, damage to equipment and personal injury. Gold Tip strongly recommends that arrows be cut no less than one to one and one-half inches in front of the arrow rest.

Review your overdraw practices

The use of an overdraw that allows shooters to draw the forward tip of an arrow past the bows handgrip, significantly increases the risk of injury to the shooter. Even when using a bow equipped with an overdraw, the arrow should always be cut one to one and one-half inches in front of the farthest point from where the arrow contacts the rest at full draw length. Select an arrow length that does not allow the arrow to be drawn past the arrow rest. Selecting the correct arrow length is solely the responsibility of the shooter.

Adjust your arrow rest

Before shooting Gold Tip arrows, it is extremely important to inspect the rest and insure it is properly adjusted for the diameter of the arrow being shot because shaft diameters vary from arrow to arrow (For example, XT Hunter to Series 22). Failure to properly adjust the arrow rest significantly increases the risk of injury to the shooter. Incorrect rest adjustment may cause the arrow to fall off of the rest and/or get hung up in the bow, potentially resulting in injuries to the shooter or bystanders. Always make sure that your equipment and especially your rest is properly adjusted to the proper shaft diameter by a qualified individual before shooting Gold Tip arrows.
